The Besim Makina story begins with our founder, Mechanical Engineer Emin Çınar, who was personally recruited by the legendary Turkish industrialist Sabri Ülker to join Topkapı Makina — the machinery arm of the Ülker group. Rising to the position of Factory Director, Mr. Çınar gained unmatched industrial experience and identified a critical gap in Turkey’s packaging machinery sector. Acting on this vision, he established Besim Makina in 1986 in partnership with Bifa Biscuits, opening a new chapter in Turkish industrial engineering.
From its very first projects, Besim Makina earned its reputation through engineering quality and innovative solutions, quickly establishing itself as Turkey’s leading manufacturer of flowpack and vertical packaging machines and carrying Turkish engineering excellence to customers worldwide. Over the years, the company expanded from packaging machinery into the design and manufacture of complete turnkey production facilities. Today, Besim Makina engineers, manufactures and commissions full production plants for customers across continents — carrying forward four decades of engineering heritage with the same passion as on day one.
